1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to provide the Services:

• Account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. We never receive or store your Google password.
• Booking details. Your name, email address, and phone number, along with the session and mentor you select.
• Mentor profiles. If you register as a mentor, the professional details you choose to publish, such as your bio, experience, skills, and social links.
• Purchase records. Records of premium subscriptions and PDF purchases associated with your account.
• Usage data. Pages visited, referring page, and product events such as viewing a question or starting a checkout.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and authenticate your account.
• To schedule sessions and share the necessary booking details with the mentor you book.
• To process payments and grant access to premium content you have purchased.
• To send transactional messages such as booking confirmations, reminders, and reschedule notices.
• To understand how the product is used and improve it.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your data to serve third-party advertising.

3. Google Sign-In

• We use Google Sign-In for authentication. We request only your basic profile and email address.
• We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service data.
• You can revoke Mentoxis’s access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

4. Service Providers We Share Data With

We share data only with providers that help us operate the platform:

• Google Firebase. Authentication, database, and file storage.
• Razorpay. Payment processing. Card details are entered directly with Razorpay and are never stored on our servers.
• Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics. Aggregate usage measurement.
• Vercel. Website hosting and delivery.

We also share the details necessary to run your session with the mentor you book. We do not otherwise disclose your data, except where required by law.

5. Data Retention & Security

• Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted connections.
• Account and booking records are retained while your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
• Access to production data is limited to authorised Mentoxis administrators.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

• We store your sign-in session in your browser so that you stay logged in between visits.
• We store display preferences, such as your light or dark theme choice.
• Analytics providers may set their own cookies to measure usage. Clearing your browser storage will sign you out.

7. Your Rights

You may request that we:

• Provide a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete your account and associated personal data, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

8. Children’s Privacy

Mentoxis is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date above, and continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
